Condition

This platinum print, with a slightly cool tonality and an exceptional level of detail, is in generally excellent condition. There are 3 small deposits of retouching in the lower left quadrant and very minor chipping along the edges. The print is trimmed in each corner to a decorative shape. The print is mounted to a cream paper, which has a few faint discolorations that may be foxing. The outline of the photograph is traced in graphite on the cream mount. It is mounted again to a gray board, which is age-appropriately darkened, soiled in a few places, and discolored at the edges. The corners of the secondary mount are rounded and the upper paper-ply is peeling. The reverse of the secondary mount is soiled and scuffed, and the outline of the photographer's blindstamp can be seen in the lower left quadrant.
