Condition

This rich, detailed contact print on Agfa paper is in overall excellent condition. There is a tiny clamp impression at the upper left margin and minor edge chipping along the margins and corners, which does not affect the image. '5-92 Harry Callahan EM40 Chicago 1949' appears in pencil in the photographer's hand on the reverse. The following is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse: 'LFP' (encircled), 'EM-40.40.5.FLP,' and '200.1:92.1.' When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce.
