This print is in overall excellent condition. With a very small, insignificant yellow mark in the upper left margin, away from the image. The print has been affixed to the mount with tape on each edge.

Catalogue Note
Akin to human portraiture, Nick Brandt’s wildlife photography bears little relation to conventional colour documentary styles. His work is testament to his desire to capture the personality of his subjects; to achieve this he prefers to be as close as possible to the animals. “You wouldn’t take a portrait of a human being from a hundred feet away and attempt to capture their spirit; you’d move in close.” In doing so, Brandt’s works have a unique, intimate quality to them.
