Condition

The stone has been placed outdoors, and consequently there is weathering to the surface throughout. The lower jaw is lost, and there are further losses, including to the upper snout, to the proper right side of the head, and around the bottom. There are several further chips and abrasions throughout, in particular at the high points. There is dirt to the surface, including several encrusted marks around the head. There is also some rusty staining in areas. Otherwise the condition is stable.
