oblong, on four scroll feet, fitted with detachable inkpot, sander and bell, the inkpot cover damaged, each engraved at a slightly later date with the Hill arms and crest within a Baroque cartouche, gadroon borders

Condition

The stand sander and bell fully marked, the inkpot and cover apparently unmarked. Marks to the bell heavily rubbed. The engraving of arms is very crisp. The gilding has probably been all later refreshed/flashed. More wear to gilding on bell. The inkpot is missing its hinged cover, broken at hinge-point. Otherwise excellent gauge and good overall condition.
