The board is slightly warped towards the right side of the board and is lifting away slightly from the backing board. There is some slight uneveness to the tip of the upper left edge, but otherwise the board appears sound. There is some slight reticulation apparent to some of the blue pigments of the central form. There is a small scuff apparent to the centre of the central form. There may be a small scuff and some associated loss to the tip of the lower right edge. There is some slight uneveness in places to the painted surface, and some slight scuffs and rubbing. There are some small specks of studio detritus, surface dirt and possible matter to the work in places. Ultraviolet light reveals scattered retouching to the work. The work is presented floated on a painted wooden board. There is some cracking, lifting and loss to the paint on this wooden board, some of which is in line with the grain of the wood.
