Bye Bye New York Hello Luanda There is a horizontal line of yellow residue measuring approximately 3cm. to the forehead of the male figure. There is an area of minor paint cracking and associated surface loss within the centre of the canvas to the area directly above the sitters ears measuring approximately 1cm. Further areas of minor surface loss can be seen to the green area within the lower right hand quadrant and the red area within the lower left hand quadrant. There are two further areas of minor surface loss to the first 'B' of the top most 'Bye Bye' and to the 'Y' of the lower most 'New York'. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no signs of retouching or repair. Overall, the works appear to be in very good original condition.
