Condition

Illustration is accurate. Good overall condition. There is a minor restoration on each arm of light and on each upper urn. There are some minor traces of old woodworm especially at the back. Nice model.

Les bras de lumière en bois sculpté sont un témoignage rare, cette paire est d'autant plus remarquable par son style typique du goût grec et la délicatesse de sa polychromie. 

Une paire d'appliques, autrefois dans la chambre à coucher du baron de Redé à l’hôtel Lambert à Paris fut vendue dans la collection Redé-Rothschild, Sotheby’s Monaco, les 25-26 mai 1975, lot n° 226 ; puis collection de Karl Lagerfeld, vente Christie’s à Monaco, 28 et 29 avril 2000, lot n° 10.
