Set with a cushion-cut emerald weighing 12.48 carats, framed and accented by round diamonds, size 4ΒΌ, partially signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 23434, with French assay marks.

Condition

In good condition, the mounting with light surface wear. Shank interior partially signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered multiple times 23434, with French assay marks for platinum and gold. The emerald is a richly saturated, very slightly bluish green color, slightly included with typical fingerprints and crystals, very minor surface-reaching inclusions a small chip below the girdle on the pavilion side, very many abrasions to the facet junctions on the crown, not visible when worn. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 3.90 carats, are approximately E-F color, VVS-VS clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 49759 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.
