Topped by a carved coral putto with a bird, supporting a pear-shaped lapis lazuli cabochon, with a carved coral flower centering a drop-shaped emerald bead measuring approximately 21.0 by 14.0 mm, accented by round diamonds, signed Webb.

Condition

In good condition, with minor signs of tarnish to the gold mounting on the reverse, commensurate with age. Coral is an opaque reddish orange color with faint whitish growth rings. Cherub figure has a broken toe but is otherwise intact. The lapis is an evenly colored strong blue with very few signs of matrix. Emerald is a light green color, heavily included, with a diagonal lapidary's cut across the back probably made to remove an inclusion. The 6 diamonds are approximately G-H color, SI clarity. Coral drop segment is held by twisted gold wire. Pin fitted with safety closure. Length approximately 4 3/8 inches.
