The tiara designed as a spray of forget-me-nots and anemones, set with oval and cushion-shaped sapphires accented with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, inner circumference approximately 495mm, later tiara fitting, four diamonds deficient, the hair ornament of similar design, set with oval, cushion-shaped and step-cut sapphires, may be worn as a pendant, pendant hook, one diamond deficient.

Condition

Diamonds bright and lively, of mixed colour and clarity grades, estimated total diamond weight in hair ornament approximately 25.00-30.00 carats, in tiara approximately 40.00-45.00 carats. Four diamonds deficient in tiara, one diamond deficient in the hair ornament. Sapphires mid to light blue, transparent, with minor typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching, some with scratches to surfaces and areas of wear to facet edges, measuring from approximately 9.95 x 7.50 x 3.20mm to 15.80 x 13.10 x 5.50mm in hair ornament, and from 10.40 x 7.05 x 2.85mm to 11.75 x 10.00 x 3.70mm in tiara, calculated to weigh approximately 2.10, 10.00, 1.50 and 4.80 carats respectively. Estimated total sapphire weight in tiara approximately 23.00 carats, in hair ornament approximately 45 carats. Tiara convertible into four brooches, fixed by wire onto later tiara fitting. Areas of solder repair to reverse of each piece. One spray in hair ornament loose. Scratches and areas of discolouration to metal surfaces throughout, consistent with age and wear. Overall condition good, commensurate with age.
