Description

Of foliage design, composed of seven detachable ears of wheat and flower head motifs, each set with rose-, circular-cut, cushion-shaped and rose diamonds, length approximately 280mm, brooch, hair fittings and a pendant hook, fitted case stamped Mon Leriche Durand Succ.

Condition

Inscribed 1, 2, 7, 12, 14, 26, 27 and 86. Please note that due to the cutting style, the total weight of the diamonds is difficult to estimate; diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 50.00 - 60.00 carats, on average from G-I to L-M colour, VS to I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount, three small diamonds deficient. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use, evidence of repairs and traces of soldering to the reverse, one ear of wheat loose in its mount. Total gross weight approximately 138 grams.
