Set with a step-cut emerald weighing 21.34 carats, between triangular diamond shoulders, size 48, signed Winston, maker's marks for Jacques Timey.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 90973, stating that the step-cut emerald weighing 21.34 carats and measuring 19.91 x 17.23 x 7.96mm, is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity modifications, together with an appendix letter. Also accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17059002, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures. Signed WINSTON, maker's mark for Jacques Timey. Stamped PLATINUM and PT 950 for platinum and OR for gold. Inscribed 21.35, referring to the carat weight of the central emerald. Emerald green of medium strong saturation, with some typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching, minor abrasions, small scratches and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50 - 4.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 13 grams.

"The described emerald exhibits a remarkable size and weight of 21.346 ct, combined with an attractive and homogeneous green colour and a fine purity...
