Comprising: the brooch designed as a panther with articulated legs and tail, pavé-set with circular-cut diamonds, embellished with cabochon sapphire spots, onyx nose and pear-shaped emerald eyes, mounted in 18 karat white gold; and a matching ring, mounted in platinum; the diamonds weighing approximately 10.00 carats in total, both signed Cartier, numbered, with French assay and maker's marks, two cases stamped Cartier. Ring size 6.   (2)

Condition

The brooch and ring both signed Cartier, numbered 633691 and 705 203 respectively, with French assay marks for platinum and maker's mark. Brooch also has French assay mark for gold. Ring stamped PT950 for platinum mounting and 53 for US ring size 6. Sapphires estimated to weigh approximately 3.50 carats in total, dark blue of medium strong saturation and generally eye clean. Emeralds estimated to weigh approximately 0.10 carat in total, are green of medium saturation. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 10 carats in total, are E to F colour, VVS to VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of very minor wear to the metal, overall in excellent condition. Cases stamped Cartier.
