Condition

The sheet is attached to the mount with one tab at each of the upper corners. There is a small crease to the sheet towards the bottom of the right edge, which has resulted in a tiny tear, and a further very tiny scuff towards the left of the lower edge, but otherwise the sheet appears sound. There is some what appears to be moisture staining to the sheet apparent around the edges in the lower right corner, visible upon close inspection. There is some discolouration to the sheet, and there are some very tiny, isolated spots of foxing in places. There is some light studio detritus in places. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition, with fresh passages of charcoal throughout. The work is presented within a brushed aluminium strip frame, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
