Condition

Original canvas. The canvas is very slightly loose, but otherwise sound. There is a very small push towards to the left edge at the centre of the work. There are some spots of surface dirt to the centre of the orange pigment, towards the left edge. There is a layer of light surface dirt to the work. Subject to the above the work is in excellent overall condition, with strong areas of impasto. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of restoration or retouching. The work is presented unframed.
