Royal folio (396 x 284mm.), 247 leaves (without blank leaf [q]8), [a-d12 e10 f-o12 p-q8 r-v12 x10 y8], double column, 59 lines, gothic type, 11-line initial P in blue and green with marginal decoration on first leaf, 2- to 7-line initials in red, red initial strokes, paraphs, headlines and underlining, manuscript quire catchwords (some cropped), crushed green morocco gilt by Duru dated 1853, spine gilt in compartments, gilt edges, extremities slightly rubbed, a few scrapes on lower cover
