Catalogue Note

The de Gregoriis brothers were active from 1482 until the end of the century, and were among the most prolific of Venetian printshops. Landino's was the first humanist commentary on Horace, dedicated to Guidobaldo da Montefeltro and first published in Landino's home town of Florence in 1482 by Antonio Miscomini. It was quickly reprinted by three Venetian printers.
