Roger Vivier for Christian Dior, A fine pair of jewelled evening shoes, 1955-59, the uppers covered in pink tulle couched and embroidered overall in metal strip, and covered with shimmering rhinestones, pearl beaded bands and coloured crystal droplets, slightly curved heel, 24cm, 9 1/2in long (2) Beading is generally good and intact - two detached droplet beads but no obvious losses, metal threads on toe tips have rubbed, but the rest of the couched metal threads are good. Soles show that the shoes have been used.
