Condition

Oil on paper laid down on canvas. There is an imperfection to the paper (measuring approx. 2.5 cm.) in the upper left quadrant, apparently present at the time of painting. There is a diagonal crease to the paper in the upper left corner, lightly visible in the catalogue illustration. When examined under UV light there is no evidence of any retouching or restoration to the composition. Minor spots of dirt in the upper right quadrant. The work is in very good overall condition.
