Condition
The canvas is unlined. The impasto is fresh and strong and there is no evidence of retouching when the work is exampled under UV light. There is a minor puncture to the canvas and associated loss to the paint, situated in the lower left quadrant, in the green pigment and measuring 1/4 in. in length. The varnish is a little dirty and the work would benefit from a light clean. The painting is in largely excellent original condition.
