Condition

The sculpture is sound. There are a few minor areas of light rubbing to the protruding edges of the bronze, most prominently to the proper left edge of the base. There are a few scattered very smalls pits to the surface, only visible upon close inspection, most likely minor flaws from the casting process. There is some very light surface dirt in places, most apparent in the crevices of the bronze. There are some minor areas of slight oxidisation, most apparent at the back of the base, a few places along the edges of the base, and underneath the tail. Subject to the above the work is in excellent overall condition. The sculpture is freestanding.
