Condition
Executed in slate. There is some light surface scratching and a few small scattered nicks and blemishes in places. There are a few accretions such as the remains of a label to one of the elements. The hue of the slate is uneven, in part consistent with the natural polished surface of the medium; the slate would benefit from a polish and surface clean to make more uniform. This work is in overall good condition.
Base: there is an area of retouching to the base and a number of scuffs and nicks to the edges.
