Catalogue Note

The 2998-3 is the third in the series of renditions of the reference 2998. Produced from 1959 to 1962, the 2998 bears straight lugs, an applied Omega logo to the dial, and the celebrated caliber 321 movement. The present lot contains a well preserved and slightly ‘tropical’ dial with long luminous hour markers with matching luminous hands, as well as correct Alpha style hands for the subsidiary dials.
