• cal. 722 manual winding nickel lever movement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance • gilt sunburst dial, applied yellow gold faceted baton indexes with luminescent dots, Obélisque hands, black engine turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, outer minute and 1/5 second divisions • 14k yellow gold Oyster case, screw down crown and case back, black acrylic bezel calibrated to 200 units • case, dial, and movement signed 

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in fair condition with heavy wear, scuffing and scratches from use and age. Case is lightly oxidized in some areas. Some indentation to the bezel between 12-2. Acrylic bezel insert with some areas of loss throughout, especially between 12-4. Case back with heavy scuffing and scratches. Crystal with scuffs and scratches. Chronograph function working properly. Dial in overall good condition with black subsidiary dials softly fading to gray. Some loss to the luminous dots. Movement in good condition. Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to shipping.
