Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 13.50 carats, embellished with circular-cut diamond prongs, to the trapeze-shaped and baguette diamond shoulders and gallery, the diamonds weighing approximately 4.20 carats in total, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, numbered, with French assay and maker's marks. Ring size: 6¼

Signed Cartier and numbered 704149, stamped pt950 for platinum and 53 referring to the European ring size. Sapphire stated to weigh approximately 13.50 carats, of blue and medium strong saturation, bright and lively, clean stone, with a few small typical inclusions and one tiny surface reaching fingerprint, and a few nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4.20 carats, are on average E to F colour, VVS to VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, overall in very good condition.
