the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to an everted rim, painted to the exterior in bright green, yellow, aubergine and turquoise enamels depicting two butterflies fluttering between two camellia sprays, the body finely incised in anhua technique with a pair of dragons chasing 'flaming pearls', the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

This bowl has a restored wedge-shaped break to the rim, approx. 5cm by 2.7cm. There are some minor iron spots and burst bubbles to the glaze to the interior and exterior.
