  • 'In and Out' Palmette Carpet Border Fragment

  • approximately 72 by 53cm; 28 by 21in.
together with a smaller fragment, with large palmettes and red ground, possibly from the same carpet (63 by 50cm; 2ft by 1ft 8in.) illustrated on-line

Condition

Small Isphahan fragment - 63 by 50cm. Isphahan carpet fragments generally in good pile, gorgeous colour, oxidised browns, condition generally as visible from images and inspection is advised. For the contents of this lot first hand inspection is advised, photographs can be requested from the department
