Condition

These pedestals have been conserved and display distress and some losses to paint and gilding throughout, and accentuated on tops and edges. One has a wider loss of paint to moulding on the lower section as visible in the photos. There are some construction cracks visible. Marks, losses and scratches consistent with age and use. One with probably some replacements to carving, namely the masks and foliage below on strapwork. This same pedestal has a loose moulding to bottom that needs re-fixing. An elegant pair.
