oval form with reeded rim, demi-lobed body, reeded handles, the incurved dome cover with ornate leaf and berry finial, engraved with crest and motto, the oval stand of similar form with shell embellished scrolling ends, pre-1829 French control mark

Condition

Hallmarks clear to cover, body and base. The cover with French control mark. The tureen fits well to the base. Small cracks to reeded rim on base rim by handles. Otherwise good condition.
