Description

  • Pottery - maiolica
  • 19cm., 7 1/2 in. x 25cm., 9 7/8 in.
painted with the Return from Egypt, depicting Joseph, Mary and the baby Jesus crossing a stream, a town in the distance, ochre-edged rim.

Condition

A section at the top right corner with old repair and restoration which has discoloured along break line. The bottom left corner with a clean break and repair. Some typical minor chips to edges.
