Pair of Platinum, Emerald and Diamond Earclips, Van Cleef & Arpels

Designed as four-leaf clovers, set with eight cabochon emeralds, accented by round diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels N.Y., numbered 18855.

In good condition with some minor scratching to the mounting, commensurate with wear. Additionally configured with retractable pins, which enable the pieces to function as clip brooches as well. The emeralds are a medium slightly bluish green and moderately to heavily included, with examples of surface-reaching inclusions and minor abrasions at the facet junctions, visible only upon close inspection. The diamonds weigh approximately 5.00 - 5.50 carats and range from approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Signed and numbered on both earclips, length approximately 1 1/8 inches.
