Comprising five bee brooches, with diamond-set wings, the first set with calibré-cut yellow sapphires and round yellow sapphire eyes; the second set with calibré-cut green garnets and cabochon green garnet eyes; the third set with calibré-cut sapphires and cabochon sapphire eyes; the fourth set with calibré-cut rubies and cabochon ruby eyes; the fifth set with round diamonds, each signed Sabbadini.

Condition

All pieces in overall good condition. The set with round diamonds weighing approximately 3.25 - 4.25 carats, approximately G-I color and predominantly VS clarity. The set with rubies displaying a medium to medium-deep pinkish red color, slightly to moderately included. The set with sapphires, which are medium-deep violet-blue and slightly to moderately included. The set with tsavorite garnets present a medium greenish to yellowish green color, with one stone heavily included but otherwise predominantly slightly included. One tsavorite garnet missing. The set with yellow sapphires displaying a bright slightly orangy yellow and predominantly slightly included. All pieces signed, with two signatures partially rubbed. Length of each brooch approximately 1 1/8 inches.
