Of geometric scrolled buckle design, set with circular-cut, square and baguette diamonds, signed Cartier, indistinctly numbered, French assay mark, one diamond deficient.

Condition

Faint French assay mark for platinum to one side of the brooch. Brooch fitting signed Cartier Paris, indistinctly numbered 043..5, base of brooch indistinctly numbered 0..64... Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 16.00 - 18.00 carats, estimated to be approximately H-I colour, VS clarity on average, some stones SI clarity. Brooch fitting secure with additional safety catch, hinge with good tension. Overall dimensions approximately 56 x 34 x 16mm, weight approximately 27.8 grams.
