Description

Set with a step-cut emerald within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, the shoulders set with pear- and marquise-shaped diamonds, size M.
Condition
Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17040001, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Please note that a further verbal assessment from GCS has specified that the emerald has been clarity enhanced with resin.
Shank stamped 750 and PT 950 for 18 carat gold and platinum. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.50-4.00 carats total. Estimated average colour G-H, clarity VS2-SI2. Emerald measuring approximately 9.95 x 9.90 x 5.45mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.42 carats, mid green colour, transparent, good saturation, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Light scratches to metal and stone surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
