The necklace composed of three strands of cultured pearls, connected at the sides and front by oval links of twisted design set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the central motif suspending a tassel pendant of cultured pearls and diamond-set drops, length approximately 655mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French maker's mark, pouch stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.

Condition

Signed Van Cleef & Arpels NY, numbered 43171, stamped 585 for 14 carat gold and French maker's mark VCA with Place Vendome column for Van Cleef and Arpels to reverse of pendant. Pearls well-matched, white body colour with green and rose overtones, approximately 7.8mm diameter in necklace, largest in tassel pendant approximately 10.7mm diameter. Pearls with areas of light scratches, pitting to nacre and other mild surface imperfections. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 - 6.00 carats. Tassel length approximately 132mm. Light scratches to metal surfaces consistent with wear. Clasp secure. In good condition.
