Description

Comprising: a necklace composed of three rows of coral beads, the clasps of knot design, length approximately 440mm, detachable into two segments; and a pair of ear clips. 

Condition

Accompanied by report no. 5722 from Cisgem, stating that the coral shows evidence of lustre enhancement. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to tongue of one clasp. Coral orangey-red in colour, with typical grain and colour mottling visible to the unaided eye. Natural pitting and minor irregularities to the surface, some with slight crazing and areas of minor chipping. Largest bead approximately 18.1mm diameter, smallest approximately 10.2mm diameter. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with age and wear. Clasps secure. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 292 grams. Earrings approximatey 23mm diameter each, clip fittings secure. In good condition.
