Condition

This work is in excellent condition overall. The elements are stable and well intact. The surface texture and color variations are consistent with the artist’s choice of medium and working method. There is evidence of some very light surface soiling. Under very close inspection there is minor oxidation to the jointed areas as well as a few unobtrusive pinpoint areas of oxidation to the surface. Also under very close inspection, there is evidence of a few scattered unobtrusive, faint surface scratches, to be expected of a wearable work from this period.
