Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The elements of the pin are stable and well intact. There are variations to the surface texture due to the artist’s choice of medium and working method. There is evidence of very minor oxidation to the steel wire elements on the reverse of the pin. Under very close inspection, there are a few unobtrusive linear surface scratches evident, to be expected of a wearable work from this period.
