Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges and light dust accumulation on the surface. Under close inspection, there is evidence of stable hairline craquelure throughout and scattered areas of minor pinpoint losses to the pigment. There are soft stretcher impressions evident along the bottom and top of the work. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. The work’s frame has multiple areas of loss along the edges and there is evidence of discoloration to the mat. Framed under glass in artist’s frame.
