Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the white is slightly lighter and the background has fewer red undertones in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection in raking light reveals a few unobtrusive rub marks in places to the black paint. Further close in reveals a short scratch to the cardboard to the lower left edge, a rub mark towards the lower right edge and a small dent to the upper right corner tip. There is a thin crack running horizontally through the centre to the composition where the cardboard has been folded.
