Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method. There are artist pinholes in the bottom left and right corners. There is very light evidence of wear and handling along the edges including a very minor loss to the paper to the top edge of the sheet just right of center as well as a 2-inch diagonal crease in the top left corner and a 1/8-inch partial tear in the top left corner. Under close inspection, there is cracking to the pigment throughout several of the maroon, red and lighter blue forms and some of the maroon-painted areas exhibit light flaking. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat at the top two corners. Framed under Plexiglas.
