Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method, and some evidence of light wear and handling along the edges. The sheet has lightly discolored with age and there is some very light time staining visible at the extreme edges. A slight ripple to the sheet is visible along the top edge and at the upper right edge next to the red form. Under very close inspection, two small creases are visible: one in the center of the bottom edge and one 2-inches below the tail of the yellow plane. Also under very close inspection, there is an approximately 2-inch horizontal abrasion in the arm of the red-clothed figure extending into the figure’s chest. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat intermittently along the edges. Framed under Plexiglas.
