  • 248cm. high, 131cm. wide, 60cm. deep; 8ft. 1 3/4 in., 5ft. 3 1/2 in., 1ft. 11 1/2 in.
in the form of a pagoda, with two frieze drawers above cupboard doors opening to reveal an arrangement drawers, secret compartments and pigeon-holes around a central cupboard door, the reverse with a hidden cupboard, on a giltwood stand

Condition

Overall in reasonable restored condition. The roof section and front doors with movement along the joints of construction some of which have been restored. The Chinoiserie decoration has been refreshed in areas. The interior with refreshed decoration and losses to the japanned surface, the pull out sections of the interior revealing secret cupboards and drawers. The stand has been re-gilt. With some old marks and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use. Please contact the department fro further photographs of the interior and secret cupboards.
