Description

  • 30cm., 11 7/8 in. high
modelled by Ernst August Leuteritz, painted possibly by Müller after Eduard Julius Bendemann (1811-1889), the waisted body painted with a continuous Bacchanal scene of figures, between formal gilt borders on a salmon pink and green ground, the bifurcated handles with burnished gilt acanthus moulded terminals, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed numeral 8, incised numeral G 116,

In overall good condition and appearance. No damage noted.
