Description

painted on either side with an Oriental battle scene or a campsite beneath the gilt lattice border, the cover with military trophies and affixed with a finial in the form of a seated lion, crowned interlaced Cs in underglaze-blue.

Condition

There is some discoloration to the flange of the cover and the upper rim edge of the sugar bowl. There is some minor and occasional rubbing to the gilding and very minor, occasional scratching to the enamels.
