Condition

Please note that colours are brighter and deeper than in the printed catalogue illustration. Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge. There is no evidence of retouching under UV light. The edges are unevenly cut and there is a minor paper loss (approx. 1 cm long) to the upper left corner (not visible when framed). There are three handling marks, possibly studio, to the upper part and towards the centre of the left edge. There is some minor paint shrinkage to the grey pigment in the shapes of the lower part of the composition. The sheet is slightly light stained and colours are slightly faded, notably the pink pigment. This work is in very good condition.
