Condition

This slightly warm-toned gelatin silver print, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. Upon very close inspection, the following are visible: several long soft and sharp creases; some shallow surface scratches mostly confined to the lower portion of the image, some of which appear to break the emulsion slightly; several glossy deposits near the center; and a tiny deposit of indeterminate nature in the upper right quadrant. There is some minor edge wear. The photograph is nearly flush-mounted. There is adhesive residue along the lower edge of the photograph. A thin border of tape is along the mount edges and on the reverse. There is very minor soiling on the reverse of the mount. '5/c' is written in an unidentified hand in blue pencil. '282A-ACMS-EJS' is written in an unidentified hand in ink on the reverse. When examined under ultra-violet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
