carved and pierced to the front face with two figures walking along a rocky path towards a pavilion high up a mountain, the reverse similarly carved with a deer on a rocky path, the stone of pale celadon tone with areas of russet skin, wood stand, fitted box

Purchased in Hong Kong in 1995.

Condition

There is ca. 0.7 x 0.7 chip to the top branch on the pine tree. There are other minor chips or fritts to the raised parts of the carving. Otherwise in overall good condition.
