freely carved and incised to the top with a central flower head surrounded by four stylised petals, covered overall with a greyish-celadon glaze

Condition
The cover has a 2.5cm rim hairline with associated glaze crackle, visible on both sides. There are small shallow chips and minute nibbling along the rims of both the cover and the box.
